Tricia Nadolny Wins Award for Young Writers
Tricia Nadolny ’09 has been named the recipient of the Walter Spearman Award for young writers for her work at the Greensboro (N.C.) News & Record during an internship last summer. The award, which recognizes outstanding writing by a journalist with two years or less experience on daily newspapers, is named for a longtime journalism professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. It was announced last night at the North Carolina Press Association winter meeting in Chapel Hill.
